2021 Board Game Jam!

Teams of 1-3 people spend the day brainstorming, creating, and playtesting their own original board games. All games should somehow connect to the event Theme, which will be revealed live on Facebook before the event.
We will provide game-making materials and the makerspace team will be operating 3-D printers and laser cutters to help you make custom pieces for your games. Feel free to bring whatever other materials you'd like.
At the end of the day, you get to take your game home with you. Then, bring it to Patrick Dugan's Coffee House in January to be played by the public and judged in four different categories: Best Visual Design, Best Use of Theme, Best Use of Mystery Component, and Best Overall Game!
Participation is open to all ages, but kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
The registration fee covers all your gaming materials, guided use of the laser cutters and 3D printers, snacks and drinks throughout the day, and a pizza lunch.
