Podcasting 101, Part I

This two-part class is designed to help you start your own podcast. If you've always had an idea for a podcast but have no idea how to get started, this class is for you!

Part I will cover:

1. Preproduction. We'll work on coming up with a unique concept and structure for your show. We'll also workshop things like cohosts, guests, episode segments/length, and your release schedule.
2. Recording. We'll go into the A/V Lab and discuss the various hardware and software you'll need to make a great-sounding show.

After Part I is complete, you'll have a couple weeks to record your first episode, either in our A/V Lab (if you're a GPMS member) or at home. Then, during Part II (Sep. 12)  we'll work on editing and publishing your episode!

This class is for ages 16 and up, and basic computer literacy is required.

The cost is $15 for GPMS members, $20 for non-members.
