  Weekly meet up for stained glass artists.  This is not an instructional class, but work-time for those with stained glass experience who either need a place to work or who want to hang out with other stained glass artists while working.  

  Cost is $5 for non-members and free for members.  This includes use of tools and space.  Additional costs if artists use materials (glass, tape, or solder) from the MakerSpace.  You can pay in person (with cash or credit) when you attend.  No need to sign-up, we'd love to have you just show up and make with us!

  Every Thursday from 7pm to about 8pm, GPMS will offer quick-craft classes. The plan is for each week's participants to create a small craft from start-to-finish.

  Come use one of our vinyl cutters to design and make a small wooden sign.  Nicole will show you how to create simple designs, help you cut them with the Cameo, and show you how to apply them to prepared wood boards.  

  Class costs $10 for non-members and $5 for members.  Registration in advance is required to help our instructors prepare for class. If there is no one registered for class approximately 24 hours in advance, class may be cancelled. 

  To take this class you need to be able to:

  • Use scissors without assistance
  • Use a computer.

  In this class, Nicole will cover the basic tools and techniques for fusing glass. Participants will create a small project, but due to the nature of this craft, you will need to return after 24 hours to pick up the fused piece. No prior experience is needed. Participants 16 years or older can register. 

  The class is $30 for members and $35 for non-members. Registration is required so we know how many people to expect.

  To end off March, we'll be sewing small baskets in our Textile's Lab.  There will be many choices of fabric provided, but you are welcome to bring your own, too.

  To take this class you need to be able to:

  • Use scissors or a rotary cutter.
  • Use a sewing machine.
  • Use an iron.
  • Use a ruler.
